Asuka Yūki (結城明日香, Yūki Asuka) is a prolific Japanese AV idol whose arrest for indecent exposure made international news in 2006.

Born Arisa Shimizu (清水あり紗, Shimizu Arisa), Yūki appeared in her first adult video in 2005. Within a year of her debut, she had appeared in nearly 100 AVs, a remarkably prolific amount in the AV industry. The average AV actress appears in a total of five to ten videos in her career.

Yūki appeared in Mascot's April 2006 release, Apartment Wife: Afternoon Prostitute Wives (団地妻 昼下がりの淫ら妻たち, Apartment Wife: Afternoon Prostitute Wives) an AV title reflecting the venerable 21-film Apartment Wife series with which Nikkatsu initiated their mainstream, softcore Roman Porno films in 1971.

Yūki made international news in August 2006 when she was arrested after two Japanese citizens supplied police with images of her walking naked through the streets of Yokohama. The photographs were taken with their cellular telephones' cameras so as to provide evidence of Yūki's offense. The actress was assisted by the president of the pornographic video company, Shinsuke Inoue, who was arrested on the same charges of committing indecent exposure as was Yūki. They also had filmed Shimizu walking naked through Chinatown.

Nana Natsume (夏目ナナ, Natsume Nana) is a well-known and award-winning Japanese AV idol and celebrity.

Natsume was born on January 23, 1982 in Osaka, Japan. After graduation from high school Natsume worked in various occupations, including as a dental assistant and in real estate. She began her entertainment career with appearances in On Girls' File and Cure Sick Night, local late night television shows in Osaka. Hikari Hino (妃乃ひかり, Hino Hikari) is a Japanese AV Idol, or porn star born March 07, 1986 in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. In July of 2005 she debuted on the Venus label with the Moodyz adult video company, one of the largest such companies in Japan.

In January 2006, Hino began working with the Crystal-Eizou company. This company announced her employment by offering fans a chance to buy a pair of her "T-Back" panties in an auction ending on January 21, 2006. Hino was the subject of two further panty-auctions in March and June of 2006.

Kate Asabuki

Kate Asabuki (朝吹ケイト, Asabuki Keito) is a Japanese actress who appeared in Nikkatsu's Roman Porno films of the 1980s, and was an early AV (Adult Video) performer.

Asabuki studied French and English in college, and joined Nikkatsu to work in their Roman Porno films in 1982, while still attending university. She took her stage name "Kate" from Kate Bush, who was her favorite singer. One of her earliest Nikkatsu appearances was in the sixth entry of the Female Teacher (Onna Kyoshi) series (1977-1983), director Junchi Suzuki's Hunting The Female Teacher (1982).

At Nikkatsu, Asabuki appeared in several films directed by Atsushi Fujiura, and it is rumored that they were secretly married to each other. She appeared in Fujiura's Lady's Triangle (Ojosan No Matagura) (1983). Fujiura also directed one of Asabuki's most successful films, Koichiro Uno's Dancer Of Izu (Uno Koichiro No Izu No Odoriko) (1984). When asked to comment on Asabuki, Konuma said, "A nice girl. Very responsive. One of the only actresses who could speak multiple languages. I had her talk English in one of the sex scenes. In the late 1990s Asabuki was an anchor on the weekly TV program Tokyo Rock TV. She continued her studies in England, and hoped to work as an actress in the United States, a country she had visited four times by 1989. In 1999 she made a fifth trip to the U.S. to model for photographer Ron Vogel for several American magazines, including Penthouse and Hustler. Kimiko Matsuzaka (松坂 季実子, Matsuzaka Kimiko) is a Japanese AV idol who was prominent during the late-1980s and early-1990s noted for her large breasts. Authorities on the AV point to Matsuzaka's career as the beginning of the "Big Bust Boom" in Japan.

Kimiko Matsuzaka made her last AV, Sexual Game, in October of 1990. AV director Toru Muranishi called her departure from the industry one of the worst news items affecting the AV industry in 1990. A year and eight months after her debut, she had starred in 21 AVs, helping to build Muranishi's company, Diamond Image, into the largest AV company in Japan. Within a year after Matsuzaka's departure, Diamond Image would declare bankruptcy. After retirement from AV appearances, she appeared with Kaoru Kuroki at the Akasaka club, "Mirukuhooru" ("Milk Hall"). Hitomi Kobayashi

Hitomi Kobayashi (小林ひとみ, Kobayashi Hitomi) is an important early Japanese AV idol. One of the founding figures of the Japanese adult video, she has been called indispensable to any discussion of the AV. Mainichi Shimbun calls her "one of the icons of Japanese adult cinema history." Her unprecedented popularity in the mid-1980s, the early days of the Japanese AV, earned her the title "Queen of AV." According to an adult entertainment reporter for Shukan Shincho, "She laid the foundations for the golden age of adult video."

After making her debut as a non-pornographic photobook and "image video" model, Kobayashi entered the AV field in 1986. Because of her rapid popularity, Nikkatsu, Japan's leading producer of softcore pornography at the time, hired her to appear in theatrical films in 1987. After marriage and a semi-retirement beginning in 1989, Kobayashi fully returned to the AV industry in 1998. Anna Ohura (大浦あんな, Ōura Anna) is a Japanese AV (adult video) performer and model, known for her prodigious (100-centimeter, metric I-cup) natural breasts. In 2003, according to the Taipei Times, she claimed to have the largest breasts in the Japanese adult film industry.

In 2002, Ohura appeared in a photo book focusing on bondage.
